Rental costs and availability of the villa are fully displayed on www.maison-en-provence.com (ref M679) and basically vary from low season €890 to middle season €1110 to high season €1560.
Letting out of the property is for a minimum of one week, (clients taking the house for example 5 or 6 days only will normally be charged a full week). Weekly rental starts on a Saturday (access normally from 17.00pm) to a Saturday (vacating before 10.00am)
Upon initial letting agreement, immediate first deposit of 30% of rental must be paid straight away up front, alongside with the full balance of the letting 30 days prior arrival.)
Customers to pay the moneys into designated bank accounts, either in France or Scotland.
Upon arrival, customers having booked through www.maison-en-provence.com will be welcomed by Cindy, our American speaking representative (Villa management Services 0610 782716) in St Cezaire, who will take an immediate deposit on arrival of €800 in cash. Upon departure and inspection of the premises by Cindy, this deposit will then be returned.
Customers booking with Daniel in Edinburgh will pay direct to him 30% on initial booking, then the balance 30 days before departure and just prior to departure upon receiving from Daniel the keys of the property, an additional £800.00 “cash or cheque” as deposit (deposit refunded upon return to Scotland). For this, please secure a mutually convenient day/appointment. (Any damages will be deducted from the deposit.)
All customers will be required to pay an additional €95.00 fee direct to cleaner on departure to cover cleaning and linen costs.
On departure day, customers must vacate by 10.00am, having taken all reasonable precautions to close and secure the house.
For customers staying longer than one week, the cleaner will carry an inspection of the villa and the pool each week at a mutually convenient time.
Customers must produce a copy/evidence of their travel insurance (this will cover the house/accidents whilst they occupy the house).
Copy of instructions / documentations “how to get there” will be given “or sent” to customers.
Like airlines, cancellations for the letting of the house are not possible, especially on the very few days preceding the start of the arranged and agreed letting. Deposit and rentals prepaid thus being non refundable.
Remember, you must contract a travel insurance (when making your flight reservation, unless you already have an annual insurance) and produce a copy to Daniel or those booking through www.maison-en-provence.com to Cindy.

This is a lovely and homely Villa, it is Daniel’s home and retreat in the South of France, where over 40 years ago he completed his formal apprenticeship (over four years) in the 5 star Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat in St Jean Cap Ferrat, near Villefranche and Nice, on the famous beautiful peninsula, home of the super rich and famous international film stars.
Now having lived very happily in Scotland since 1974, Daniel enjoys escaping and re-sourcing himself every month in the secluded very much 'off the beaten track' village of St Cezaire, between Cannes and the wonderful wild Provencal 'arriere pays'.
